Alphabet Island is a phonics program that uses letters to represent characters that live on Alphabet Island.
Part I of the program introduces the letter sounds, alphabet sequence, letter formation, and short vowel words. It is appropriate for kindergarten, and also includes Kinder-Math, which covers basic math concepts.
Part II of the program is designed for 1st- 3rd grade students, and reviews the material learned in part I before moving on to long vowels and more advanced phonetics.
Each level includes songs and stories on CD, workbooks, alphabet cards, games, flashcards, and a teacher's manual.
