Our family LOVES Apologia. The Elementary books are fantastic, colorful and FULL of great information. They sell a notebook to complement each elementary level, but we've found that we enjoy notebooking on our own. Each lesson is informative, interesting and challenging as well as deep enough to spark some fantastic conversation.

The high school Sciences are just as good, if not better. In my opinion, no other curricula forces your student to THINK as well as Apologia. You can't memorize vocabulary and pass this course. You have to think through scientific processes to produce correct answers. Another great thing about Apologia is their great stance on Creationism. They don't just tell you that Creationism has merit, they show you how and why and give extremely convincing arguments thereof.

We are incredibly happy with Apologia. So much so that I can't tell you a single thing that I don't like about it!
