Checklist Schedule for Grades
K, 1st and 3rd

At our home, each child has a goal card that they follow. That way I can adjust what they are required to do based on how life is happening. This also allows them to do some things on their own without my reminders.

This is a basic list.

The 1st grader:
Math: 1 page of Math U See (MUS)
English: 4 pages in School of Tomorrow (ACE) workbook
Word Building: 4 pages of ACE
Science: Read one Christian Liberty Nature Reader story aloud to siblings
History: Listen to sister read
Bible: Memorize Psalm one with a color and memorize book from Rod and Staff
Language: Says constant blends aloud to me due to speech delays

3rd grader:
Math: 1 page of MUS
English: 4 pages in School of Tomorrow (ACE) workbook
Word Building: Sequential Spelling
Science: Listen to brother read
History: Read one story for History Stories For Children aloud to siblings
Bible: Memorize Psalm one with a color and memorize book from Rod and Staff
Literature: Once a week writes pen pal/reads a chapter a day and writes two sentences about it

4 yo is doing our usual Kindergarten schedule because she wants to and can:
Math: counting by adding a new number each day, then does worksheet to write numbers
Reading: Signs ABC's and reads Bob book
Science and History: Listens to siblings read
Bible: Memorize same as others

(Other activities we do together that occur weekly include: updating calendar and weather chart (daily), reviewing our family's full names and spellings, our address and phone number, singing days of the week song and months of the year, and also listening to the MOH on CD. We also are always reading a book aloud. Right now, it is Anne of Green Gables. These things don't go on the goal card. We just do them throughout the week as time allows.)
