Dr. Doo Riddles, A1

Dr. Doo Riddles by Critical Thinking Press is a book of riddles that help children build associative reasoning skills. My children have used level A1 for grades Pre K - 2.

Each riddle contains a rhyming passage with 4 lines. Each line provides a clue about a specific object. At the end of the rhyme, the children guess the object.

Although my 7 year old can solve these problems easily, he still finds the riddles enjoyable. Writing the answers in the book is good spelling and handwriting practice for him.

My 4 year old enjoys answering the riddles. They help her think about beginning and ending sounds, and physical characteristics of everyday objects. If a riddle is too challenging for her, I simply ask her leading questions to help her find the answer for herself.

These books are a great way to help children build thinking skills, and are fun to use as a family. I have no dislikes about this product.
