We used Editor in Chief in both versions over the last few years. I am a professional writer and I learned a lot along with my kids!

We prefer the CD version. It seems more engaging.
I like that the samples given are complete and one must search for mistakes to edit. You can ask for a hint to learn a grammar rule if you can't find them all.

Excellent reference tool & great practice for anyone who is fully literate.

One small problem was (in the version we have, anyway) that if you mouse over the pages on the computer, the mistakes will highlight. If you have a child who likes to take "shortcuts," he or she may need to be supervised to discourage "cheating."

Also, I wish there were about double the exercises so this curriculum would last longer...but maybe I just had a speedy kid!

Overall, very good.
