Five in a Row

Subject: Everything

Levels Used: I used the original book with units about picture books like Madeline and Make Way for Ducklings

Dates Used: Oh goodness - maybe 13 years ago?

Likes: What a wonderful way to learn. Five in a Row is such a charming multi-level way to learn with more than one child, or children of different levels. Or just one child! We loved finding out about excellent books and learned about all sorts of subjects across the whole spectrum of learning.

When doing 5 days on the book Madeline, for instance, my younger child learned about rhymes and the concept of symmetry while my older child colored the map of France and drew the Eifel Tower. Really fun and you end up in love with the books!! Many choices and very flexible.

Dislikes: Not a thing to dislike. Now this series is available for lots of age levels.
