I used Five in a Row Vol. 1 in 2004. It was a great resource to help me get ready for another literature based curriculum. I liked the stories that were used and the activities that you could pick from as the teacher to help my son absorb the needed information presented. I liked that you could highlight Geography, the culture of a specific region, and even more in the lesson plans.
