Pre-Writing Strands: My kids were so bogged down with writing and grammar rules that they learned to hate all language arts studies!

Then we found Writing Strands: This saved the day for us. It has an easy, *realistic* schedule of doing writing lessons one week, and reading of real books (instead of writing lessons) the next week. Better yet, writing lessons only took 20 minutes a day. It was a total win for us.

Between my two kids, we went all the way through the program - levels one to Writing Exposition. My kids aced English 101 in college and the writing requirements in college. In fact, when my son graduated Bible college, the college asked him to write for them.

You just gotta stick with it. At $20 a book, and no lesson plans for moms, you can't go wrong.
