Love the curriculum, but not the price!

Product: SOS Grade 8 by AOP
Subject: 5 subject (Bible, Language Arts, Math, History/Geography, Science)
Levels Used: 8th grade
Dates Used: 2010-2011 school year

Likes: We are finishing up our first year using Switched on Schoolhouse. We have used the Lifepacs for all the previous years. We love this curriculum and are going to stay with it through the completion of high school. Our oldest who was the first one to try it this year, has improved her grades by one whole letter grade! She really loves it. The other children have 'wandered' by and have stayed and learned things too. They just seem drawn to it! They want to know when they can start doing schoolwork on the computer because it's not fair that she gets to have all the fun!

She actually looks forward to starting her day and completing everything in a timely manner and I love that it is a true time saver for me! Lots of 'extra' time for field trips, science experiments, etc.!

Dislikes: The EXACT spelling, including whether or not it's plural, etc. is required for a correct answer. We also feel that it's a bit overpriced. Too bad we didn't come across this when we started homeschooling!
