Likes: MEP is a free math curriculum. It seems to be good for a wide range of learning styles. (Although, to be honest, I've only used it with one child so far.) I love how it teaches thinking and problem solving, instead of just rote memory and drill. There's also a very helpful Yahoo group for homeschoolers using MEP.
Dislikes: Some complain about the British money questions and metric system. That doesn't bother me much. My biggest dislike is that the site is hard to figure out at first.
