I used Exploring Cultures and Countries this past year (2010/2011) with grade levels 1st-6th. It was our best homeschooling year!
I felt like this well laid out program helped me to enjoy homeschooling and look forward to the next year. It is laid out so that I just have to prepare a couple weeks in advance, reserving library books, doing a little copying. All of the research is done for me and provided so we can just have fun and enjoy our studies.
We sometimes did not always get everything done, but there was so much to do, that we did a lot! I think we had a lot of fun with this program and I highly recommend it to anyone trying to combine history/geography/science for different grade levels.
I wished it had tied a bit more into the English ino the subjects as I felt like it would have been easy for them to do, and I often did not take the time to do it myself, but would have used it.

Likes: We've been using My Father's World Exploring Countries and Cultures and it has been FANTASTIC! ECC has opened up our eyes to so many cultures in less than a year's time. My children's hearts have been pricked for the lost and those without the gospel. They can't wait to visit some of these places for themselves. I've learned a lot as well. I love all of the book recommendations. We've read some very amazing stories.

This is our first year with MFW, and we love it! This is a combined Classical/Charlotte Mason style unit study. Year one focuses more on Geography than History, giving the students a good basis on which to go forth with the History they will learn in the following years. It is designed to use with children in grades 2-8. It covers everything but Language Arts and Math. It is a lot of fun, and the geography game included is such a fun way to learn. I have used other curricula but this is our first unit study, and I plan to continue with this one all through High School. I feel like I have finally found the right program for our family.
I have started a blog to journal our homeschool journey using MFW. http://www.readingispriceless.blogspot.com
