I used Saxon Kindergarten Math from the fall of 2004-2005 with my son. He had problems with his eyesight, so this was a curriculum that was easily used by following their detailed instructions for the teacher/parent. The manipulatives mixed with the math in a manner that made it easy for my son to grasp the concepts presented without seeing everything clearly. I liked the calendar skills, sequencing, and pattern recognition incorporated in this program. It was time consuming, but as I was only teaching 1 child, it was not a problem. I can see this being difficult if teaching multiple grades at once.
