Likes: It is very user friendly, while it is scripted, it keeps the teacher and the child on track. You can order the updated version directly from Saxon and it is better than the 1994 version. You have to call and order it directly from them, you can't order it online. I just used the new teacher's guide and workbooks with the older version's toolkit and made some tweaks, (ordered the toolkit from CBD, much less expensive). My student is dyslexic and he is reading and spelling so well, now using Saxon, rather than a word family type phonics type program.

Dislikes: It is a little pricey, but it is well worth every penny. You will have a reader and a speller when you are finished with the program!!!
