Science through Children's Literature: An Integrated Approach uses well-loved children's books as a springboard for teaching science principles to students in grades K-3. The program features over 30 units that are centered around well-known story books, such as Make Way for Ducklings, A Tree is Nice and The Very Busy Spider.
Each unit contains activities in science, reading, writing, math, social studies and art or music. The program is intended for use as a supplement in a traditional school setting, but can be used as a stand alone program for young children in a homeschool setting.
