Shiller Math is a Montessori based, multi-sensory math program for children in K-7th grades. The program teaches using materials that are designed to be seen, touched, and manipulated, and is a perfect fit for hands-on, kinesthetic and tactile learners. It also uses bright colors and workbooks that appeal to visual learners, and a CD of original songs that auditory learners will enjoy.
The program teaches using a spiral approach so children receive plenty of practice. It is currently available in two kits - Kit I for Kindergarten to 3rd grade and Kit II for 3rd through 7th grade. Each kit contains manipulatives to introduce and reinforce concepts, a CD of math songs, flash cards, workbooks with scripted lessons for the parent, and more!
The company allows parents to download extra worksheets so the kits can be reused with multiple children.
