Spelling Power - not for us

Likes: Relatively low cost, non-consumable which is important for homeschooling 5 children on a budget. I appreciated the placement tests and the multi-sensory approach. It did take quite a bit of time to wade through and understand how to use the program, but the dvd helped and it wasn't too bad.

Dislikes: I really wanted to like this program after investing the time and money into it but after a couple of years of use, I'm afraid we're going to have to abandon it. It simply doesn't lay out the phonics rules in a way that has helped my children to make the connections they need to in order to become confident spellers. So, the search continues for something better suited to our family.
