Spelling Power is an extensive and exhaustive spelling program that covers all of your students from Kindergarten to College. It teaches spelling mastery by giving your student a daily list of words and a daily test. Each day, your child gets to 'graduate' words they've mastered and replace them with new words.

Spelling Power is packed with teaching aids and neat things to do with struggling spellers. It works, too. As long as you're doing what the book says, your child is learning how to spell.

I spent a lot of money on Spelling Power and all the accessories, so I really wanted to like it, but I didn't. I have 3 children, and I quickly found that I hated having to generate a spelling list for them on a DAILY basis. In all fairness, my kids are good spellers and so some of the frustration may have come from the fact that I was doing a WHOLE LOT of work that didn't seem to have a lot of pay off because I was generating a different 25 word list for each child EVERY DAY, only to have an average of 2 words stay on the list the next day.

I didn't love Spelling Power, but I believe that I would have if my children were struggling!
