Likes:
#1 It is very easy to use. Open the book, give your child a couple of diagonstic tests, and you are ready to go.

#2 The lists are short and manageable for students.

#3 I use it with a simple notebook. Sometimes the kids will practice their words on the computer. But there is nothing else that you need. The book can be used with multiple children over many years.

Dislikes: It is not as "pretty" as some spelling books. It does include some hands-on spelling practice ideas. I haven't used these as I thought that they were time consuming. You may want to come up with your own spelling practice ideas.
